After more than two decades leading creative projects at The Pokémon Company and Wizards of the Coast (Hasbro), Emily Arons turned her storytelling talents to the world of fiction. Inspired by her deep love for adventure and imaginative worlds, Emily authored Miro Chronicles, a sci-fi novel that became a finalist in the 2021 Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Contest.
Rooted in hope and wonder, Miro Chronicles reflects Emily’s passion for encouraging young readers to dream, explore, and protect our planet. Her debut marks a bold new chapter in a career dedicated to sparking imagination in children worldwide.

A PASSION FOR THE GREAT OUTDOORS
When she's not writing or developing new creative projects, Emily finds inspiration exploring the great outdoors. Some of her most memorable adventures include:
- Running the Grand Canyon from rim to river and back
- Hiking Half Dome in Yosemite National Park
- Summiting Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in the contiguous United States
Today, whether chasing sunlight along running trails or smashing tennis balls across the court, Emily embraces the spirit of adventure that fuels her stories.
HOME BASE: FROM BERKELEY TO WOODINVILLE
A California native, Emily grew up in Berkeley, California, and now lives in Woodinville, Washington, with her family—including two lively dogs and a very bossy cat.
