After more than two decades leading creative projects at The Pokémon Company and Wizards of the Coast (Hasbro), Emily Arons turned her storytelling talents to children's fiction. Inspired by a lifelong love of adventure and imaginative worlds, she authored Miro Chronicles, a sci-fi novel that became a finalist in the 2021 Pacific Northwest Writers Association Literary Contest.

A Passion For the Great Outdoors
When she’s not writing or developing new creative projects, Emily finds inspiration in the wild. Some of her most memorable adventures include:
- Running the Grand Canyon from rim to river and back
- Hiking Half Dome in Yosemite National Park
- Summiting Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in the contiguous United States
- Trekking in the Alps beneath the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc
Today, whether chasing sunlight along running trails or smashing tennis balls across the court, Emily embraces the spirit of adventure that fuels her stories.
Home Base: From Berkeley to Woodinville
A California native, Emily grew up in Berkeley, California, and now lives in Woodinville, Washington, with her family—including two lively dogs and a very bossy cat.

Isabella is an Australian illustrator with experience in animation, illustration, and comics. Her work is defined by vibrant colour palettes, thoughtful detail, and a passion for visual storytelling. Isabella is often sketching new ideas and finding inspiration in nature, books and film. At the heart of her practice is a love of creating art that transports people into new places and sparks their imagination.
